A clock tower in the town of Yambol will be renovated, Darik Radio reported. Fund collection for the renovation project already began. A charity-raising concert was organized.

Initial plans for the construction of the tower were presented in 1986. The town’s history museum started making the project. The height of the tower will be 25 m. The tower was situated on the spot where Osvobozhdenie square is today. It is still unclear exactly where will the tower be renovated. Originally, the tower was constructed in 1898 and destroyed four years later.
